There is much to see and do in this area of Norfolk. Nestled in the heart of the Breckland, an area of environmental importance, an SSSI site, with the lowest rainfall in the UK. It is a perfect choice for an outdoor break. Within 500m of the house is Thetford Forest Park - 50,000 acres of woodland offering bike and walking trails, with or without the dog. This consists of leafy tree-lined paths. Within the Forest is a high-wire experience, Segway and a golf course. There is a Nature Reserve within five minutes of the house.

The famous beaches of Brancaster and Holkham offer a great day away from the house

The City of Norwich beckons the visitor with its 900-year old cathedral, its Norman castle great shops. The Georgian town of Bury St Edmunds is close by. Visit the historic houses & gardens of Norfolk & Suffolk are within easy reach
