The Pool House

The cathedral-like contemporary proportions of the Pool House, offers voluminous entertaining space for a small family group or a troupe of friends.

Sufficiently intimate to be a perfect couple’s retreat, to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Far from the unloved coach house and run of stables, the Pool House has been reimagined into a 250sq metre space with double height ceilings, chunky oak beams creating a sense of drama and maximising natural light.

The sky is captured through gable windows; a wall of glass frames the walled garden. French windows from the kitchen and two bedrooms open onto the Pool House garden, graced with rambling roses, fruit trees and topiary mounds. The terrace is an idyllic spot for a morning croissant or an al fresco summer supper.
