At Vicarage House you have lots of options for dining: for special occasions, we can arrange all kinds of catering from a simple buffet to lunches, to a summer BBQ and to a fully-catered holiday. Just let us know what you are looking for and we'll arrange it. Our highly-rated chef is happy to prepare a celebratory meal to order, all cooked and cleared. Once they tidy the kitchen, you would not know they had been there.

Enjoy cosy suppers in the kitchen for ten. Celebrate or dine elegantly with your friends and family enjoying a delicious meal around the huge dining table big enough for 14. Or dine quietly in the light-filled, cathedral-like space of the Pool House, perfect for a more intimate dining experience.

Also, you are spoiled for choice with outdoor eating areas: Close to the house beside the kitchen is a large 14-seater teak table with rattan dining chairs and a six-ring barbecue. This terrace captures the morning sun so is perfect for breakfast and lunch. There is a stunning Neptune rattan round table with circular rattan seats on the terrace in the Walled Garden, a beautiful dining area perfect for watching a classic Norfolk sunset. This seats eight. This terrace is bathed in sunshine from early afternoon. There is teak table and eight chairs in the New Garden nestled by the Pool House.

There is a terrace with a fire pit surrounded by four benches. Sit on cushions, wrapped in blankets and see out the evening on this sheltered terrace.

Private Chef


Nothing makes an evening or a lunch more relaxing than someone else doing the cooking, serving the wine you have selected and nobody needs to drive or do the washing up.

We have three House chefs. Please look at their respective websites and contact them directly. They are listed in no particular order of preference.

Conor Carway-Roe, the House Chef is excellent, good value and the kitchen is left immaculately when he leaves. He knows the house, the kitchen and the ovens well! Conor has catered for a number of celebration suppers at the house. He has delightful staff.
